The book has a dark subject matter and I wanted to replicate this in my design. Consequently, I found images of government letters, logos and images from the 60’s and 70’s. I then played around with the photocopier to create a cold war, clandestine look. I complemented this by using an eroded typewriter font in the colours of the USA and the old Soviet Union.
