Sonrisa Recordings
Sonrisa Recordings are an Australian record company focusing on house music.
The branding and identity for Sonrisa is based around the grooves/lines found on a vinyl.
This idea is again used for the limited edition picture discs that Sonrisa produce. Inspired by Marcel Duchamp rotating discs, the vinyls feature distorted lines that when spun round create an optical effect.
The information labels were purposely left off and stickers were produced. These could be then placed in the middle of transparent plastic sleeves by the consumer.
